An award-winning photographer with over 20 years’ experience, Michelle Williams is one of the most sought after architectural and interiors photographers in Australia.
ABOUT MICHELLE
There is an art to photographing architecture and interior spaces. And it takes an artist to capture the subtle nuances and fine details that make each project so individually unique. Michelle’s artist trained eye and exceptional command of light and shadow gives her the ability not only to understand the essence and design intent of her client’s projects but to bring them their rich design story to life. As a result, Michelle has contributed to many of her clients going on to become award winners themselves.
To work with Michelle is to collectively aspire to excellence. A current PhD student at Swinburne University School of Architecture and Design, She holds a Master of Art (Photography) from RMIT and is a sought-after guest lecturer at both RMIT and Swinburne University. This depth of knowledge and mastery of photography as an artform enables her to produce powerful and evocative images that go beyond communicating the strength of each client’s design. Through Michelle’s lens, architecture is elevated to the level of art.
Her ethos is one of creative partnership and collaboration. With two decades of experience in the commercial and artistic field, Michelle leverages her deep network of relationships to pitch and successfully place editorial about her clients’ projects into leading design publications including Australian Design Review, In Design and The Design Files. This expanded level of client service is not simply about press coverage for the sake of it. It’s because Michelle believes that exceptional design deserves to be seen, celebrated and remembered.
